Sandals Jamaica South Coast – A Dream Vacation

Jamaica south coast

For my husband and I’s 14th anniversary, I decided to take him on a trip to Sandals Jamaica South Coast. I picked this location because I wanted a hotel that offered over-water bungalows and was not such a far flight as going to Bora Bora. I did lots of research and found Sandals Hotel Resorts.

Sandals offer various locations, but only Sandals South Coast, Sandals Royal Caribbean, and Sandals Saint Lucian offer the over-water bungalows. I chose the South Coast location because it is slightly further out of the airport, giving it more of an intimate destination. Sandals Caribbean is about 15 minutes from the main airport, and you have access to the other Sandals hotels in the area if you stay there. That is the one plus side to the Caribbean location because you get the benefits of all three of the nearby resorts. But, I like that South Coast was more secluded with a 1-hour scenic drive to get there.

I consider this hotel one of the best places where you can de-stress, relax, and reignite your and your partner’s connection. I recommend its beautiful beachfront views and perfectly landscaped courtyards inspired by Dutch, Italian, and French architecture.

Sandals Jamaica South Coast is also known as Jamaica’s #1 All-Beachfront and All-Oceanview Resort. It is located within a 500-acre nature preserve and is the only resort in the Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica area. Sandals is also an Adults-Only Resort. Its top-notch views and lavish amenities are a Caribbean charm that makes for a perfect venue for weddings, honeymoons, or even a romantic retreat for couples.

3 Reasons to Visit the Sandals Jamaica South Coast

1. All-inclusive resort

The Sandals South Coast is an all-inclusive resort. For the price you pay, meals, the activities such as scuba diving, access to water sports, and use of their fitness center are already included during your stay.

2. Over-the-water honeymoon butler bungalow

For accommodations, I suggest staying in one of the spectacular over-water bungalows that let you indulge in the immaculate Caribbean Sea and marine life. Each suite is equipped with a private outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tub, which is suitable for two people. They also come with an over-water hammock or lounge seat to soak up the sun.

Each Sandals South Coast Jamaica bungalow features a king-size bed, spa-style bathroom, private patio, and striking glass floor panels. Some of the best perks of the over-water bungalows are optional upgrades for expedited immigration and fast-track through customs. You will also enjoy luxury car pickup to and from the airport.

The Sandals South Coast overwater bungalows also come with full 24-hour butler service. The butler will handle every and any request you have.

The Sandals South Coast has recently seen an upgrade, and it now offers some of the most breathtaking and extravagant features. Look at some of its newest additions:
